Welcome to the Biggin Women’s Institute.
We are a friendly group of all ages from in and around Biggin who meet on the second Monday of the month in Biggin Village Hall, Drury Lane at 7.30pm. We get together to chat, create, listen, eat and drink, get inspired, learn and laugh. We have interesting and entertaining speakers on anything from beading to the life cycle of dragonflies followed by tea but we have been known to meet in The Waterloo for fish and chips.
Its not all Jam and Jerusalem. Come along and join us to get involved with your community, learn new skills, meet old friends and make new ones, and have a laugh. We have an annual outing, meet with other WI’s in our area, have a Christmas meal and other more informal outings as well as hands on craft sessions and demonstrations. Biggin WI is responsive to the needs and interests of its members. We aim to share and develop the hobbies and interests of all out members but there’s always room for more.
We are always delighted to welcome visitors (£2.50 per meeting for up to three meetings each year), and are actively looking for new members.
